As a boutique hotel manager and wine connoisseur, my recent Christmas getaway at Aegean Sun Hotel was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled just a stone's throw away from Thassos port, the property boasts a picturesque small beach, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, and free private parking - ideal for those seeking relaxation and convenience. Our sea view studio, complete with a spacious balcony overlooking the pool, exceeded all expectations. The room was tastefully renovated and equipped with modern amenities, including a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge - perfect for savoring local delicacies or enjoying a sunset aperitif. Each morning, we indulged in a delightful buffet breakfast, complete with Greek specialties, setting the tone for a day of exploration. The property's proximity to Pachis Beach and its stunning garden and children's playground made our stay even more memorable.While the furniture in the room could use a refresh, the warm hospitality of the staff, including the lovely lady at the reception, truly made us feel at home. With easy access to Arriba Beach less than 1 km away and Megas Alexandros a scenic 35 km drive, Aegean Sun Hotel is the perfect haven for travelers seeking beauty, comfort, and a touch of Cycladic charm. Whether you're a solo traveler seeking serenity or a couple looking for a romantic escape, this hidden gem is sure to steal your heart.
